Due to Hsinchu Municipal Glass Museum is close
to Hsinchu Municipal Zoon; therefore, 2003 Hsinchu Municipal
Glass Art Festival choose ¡§Glass Animal Museum¡¨
as one of
its main theme, which compensates real zoo with glass zoon
and creates more fun.
Using crystal glass as material to create animal designs,
it requires certain level of skills; because glass itself
is harder to create animal shapes, especially with animals¡¦
body proportions & postures and also their spirits. It
relies on creativity to create invisible art works; however,
it relies on repeated practice to create visible art works
until their outside appearances are close to reality and earn
praises from public.

| From an international point of view, we recommend
the master of glass arts from Venice, Italy, who has ability
to create perfect animal designs. Therefore, we display 56 pieces
of works of 6 masters from Venice at Glass Animal Museum, including
Arnaldo Zanella , Oszar Zanett I ,Mariangelo Farnea, Nuccia
Ernandez Adriano Mellara, Dino Rosin.
We have planned to set up four different kinds of animal
sections for "Glass Animal Museum" of 2003 Hsinchu
Glass Art Festival, including sea animals, tropical jungle,
wild animals, and cute animals, in order to present intensive
atmosphere at zoo where people at all ages can come over nd
have fun.

| Wild
Animals Section |
| Built in the background of tropical jungle
and palm tree, we display scene of tropical forest section.
Under this wild jungle environment, flying eagles hunt desperately
smaller animals and cute paradise birds & parrot fly through
the jungle. |

| Sea
Animals Section |
| Built in the background of wide sea, we display
harmony in our mother nature with wandering whale, colorful
tropical fish, and groups of penguin, which fills amazing sea
world. |

| Tropical
Jungle Section |
| Built in the background of caves, mountains,
and wide fields, we display how the stronger hunts the weaker
in our mother nature by telling stories. Black leopards engaged
top of mountain seek for objects at the foot of mountain and
groups of cattle & horses running on wild fields, which
make the section vivid. |

| Cute
Animals Section |
| Built in the colorful & cute background
of humorous & funny animal designs. This section will add
works from Hsinchu industries and relevant animals at Hsinchu
Municipal Zoo. In order to attract citizens, we will also establish
a stand to sell souvenirs for children to touch these souvenirs. |
