Exhibition Section for our Home Living Space

Glass plays a significant and intimate role in our general living lives, which can be applied on either tableware (glass, bowl, spoon, tub), lamps and lanterns (fluorescent lamps, crystal lamps, other source of lights), shield for door leaves (glass door, glass window, sanitary door lead, glass shield), and other appliances (glass pad, glass whiteboard), or can be considered as type of craft to better our cultural & spiritual lives. In 2003 Hsinchu Municipal International Glass Festival, we have made the main theme of living room & bookstore based on limited space of our home. Between reality and imagination, we create tons of effects through using other types of auxiliary materials, including metal, leather, timber, fabric, and paint in different lights.

Later, we use technique of processing glass and chose glass with unique piercing material to create transparent and vivid sense of space, which is also the major focus of this exhibition.

At this exhibition museum, we will have feelings of indulging into a unique and marvelous orld of glass, and we will also find that glass art can be simply applied into our home space to create more artistic and romantic feelings to our lives.

Arts of Light Section- Source

In the summer time of Year 1975, I occasionally found neon lights, which I was attracted immediately until now. Therefore, I have been engaged in neon art creation and researches. Due to this "source" has kept me involve so deeply, so I would like to attract more companions to continue this "fate" and to bring forth neon art.While producing "source", from designed shape of 20-centimeter cold tube to Fluorescent Powder on these works, we have to work on them step by step. During this process, the most difficult part is to create visual effect for the whole scene to become vivid, such as fishes jump upwards and downwards under water curtain. The major feature for these light pipes is their various colors. Yellow, green, and orange are 3 major colors that will decorate this night even more splendid and romantic.

International Glass Art Street

Through assistance of Chu-Chien Glass Association & Fong Cheng Glass Artists Association, international glass art street ha opportunities to display works from 15 glass art industries. By mutual communications, we further increase development of glass art industries; on the other hand, international glass art street also provides glass artists the opportunities to display their works to citizens and provides citizens the opportunities to appreciate wonderful works from glass artists. Works displayed on glass arts street are based on free creation; therefore, glass artists have freedom to create unlimited imagination to satisfy your sights.

At the scene, we also supply art works for sale, which give you the opportunity to bring your favorite works home without simply appreciating them and to satisfy your desires of collections.
